Bernoulli and l'Hospital's Rule

Look Bernoulli and l'Hospital's Rule (about limits like ...) up in the internet, explain it, and demonstrate it with examples. Also show how this rule can be useful to compute lim_x->1(1/ln(x) - 1/(x-1)) or lim_x->infinity x^1/x. Who should be given credit for it, Bernoulli or l'Hospital??
